| Description of the Cathedral Hill Hotel |
Since the hotel opened in 1960, the Cathedral Hill has offered their guests a pleasant ambience, hospitality and attentive service. The guest rooms are spacious enough for guests to stretch out and make themselves at home. These rooms will have a balcony or a view of the city. All of the rooms have windows that open so guests can enjoy the fresh bay air. The hotel has a restaurant that is a local favourite, the Hilltop Bar and Grill, which offers California cuisine and one of the city's largest selections of wines and micro-brews. For recreation, the hotel has an outdoor heated swimming pool, a rarity in San Francisco, surrounded by a garden courtyard and a 24-hour fitness facility.

Customer reviews of the Cathedral Hill Hotel
|
"Good value, decent location, slightly dodgy area?" |
|
"Hotel was good value, and very helpful. Room was cleana n comfortable.
The location (Van Ness/Geary) is convenient enough for visiting the rest
of town, with decent bus links to the harbour and the Financial
District.
My only reservation is that the Van Ness end of Geary
St felt a little dodgy, particularly at night time - certainly didn't
feel much like waiting on Geary or O'Farrell very long for a bus into
town. But having said that, I didn't see any trouble - just a few seedy
joints and their clientele."
The best thing about Cathedral Hill Hotel was:"Good value rooms"
The worst thing about Cathedral Hill Hotel was: "Surrounding area"
