"An excellent deal from Midas hotel network!

"We spent 4 nights in Washington over Easter as part of an Off season
break on a room only deal. This hotel was clean and tidy with courteous
staff and functional if not opulent rooms. A couple of things were
missing from the rooms, E.G. mini bar and coffee making facilities, but
we were told that these will be on the way soon. The in house piano bar,
Palette restaurant, and room service ($24 for a regular bacon and
pancake breakfast) were expensive and we chose to eat/drink out at the
plethora of nearby cafes, bars and restaurants (within 4 blocks walk).
The location is good, within walking distance of both the metro and
downtown. It is a bit further to the whitehouse/museums etc, but we
managed that on foot without any problems. Others may wish to consult a
map to decide for themselves what constitutes "walking distance". We
found this hotel excellent value for money at $120 per room per night
(for two people).

The best thing about The Madison A Loews Hotel was:"The service

The worst thing about The Madison A Loews Hotel was: "Price of in house facilities
