Cheap and discount hotels and accommodation in Yosemite National Park, USA

The Great American Outdoors

As far national parks go they don't get much better than this. Huge granite mountains with cascading waterfalls. All the in-park accommodation options are normally sewn up a year in a advance, so most people take advantage of the cheaper hotel options just outside.
You need a car wherever you stay so you'll be no worse off anyway.

"Arrive early, take avantage of the great views, walk across the road down to the river bank, eat in the diner/bar. "
Mr E Hodgetts of Castleford (Mature couple) stayed: Cedar Lodge Hotel, Jul 2008

"Location of this hotel is ideal for visiting the Yosemite National Park. Oakhurst itself has nothing much to offer, could be made for appealing to vsitors. "
Mrs J Yates of Wakefield (Mature couple) stayed: Shilo Inn Oakhurst Hotel, Jun 2008

"Shop at the supermarket at the bottom of the main street. Great selection, great prices. Visit the bar next to Blue Jade Chinese restaurant on the opposite side of the street. Looks like a dive but it is so friendly. You won't be a stranger for long. Say hello to Carole and tell her Trevor and Pam from England told you to call. "
Mr T Dyson of Bournemouth (Mature couple) stayed: Shilo Inn Oakhurst Hotel, Oct 2007

"They don't tell you about the bar when you queue for the restaurant. We had to ask where we could go for pre dinner drink. Bar is cosy and friendly. "
Miss D Chilton of Altrincham (Young couple) stayed: Yosemite View Lodge Hotel, Sep 2007

"Allow sufficient time for the journey to/from Yosemite National Park in your planning. It can easily be a 90 minute journey if there is much traffic and if you wish to stop to take photographs on route. "
Mr A Fagg of Mytchett (Mature couple) stayed: Shilo Inn Oakhurst Hotel, Sep 2007

"If you are booking the hotel for it's proximity to Yosemite, it is half hour drive from the park and a further hours drive through the park to get to the village. "
Mrs K Pennington of Cheadle (Mature couple) stayed: Shilo Inn Oakhurst Hotel, Jun 2007

"Check the weather and get Snow chains in the villages before you get to Ceder lodge in winter "
Mr T Rosser of Blackpool (Solo leisure) stayed: Cedar Lodge Hotel, Dec 2006
