Renovated in 2005, there are a total of 700 rooms spread over a 5-storey main building and 10 neighbouring buildings. Guests are welcomed in the foyer with 24-hour reception desk, 12 safes and 8 lifts. Further facilities include 3 cafés, a kiosk, a bar and 2 restaurants with highchairs for infants and culinary delights. In addition, there are 18 conference rooms and a public Internet terminal available for use (additional fees apply). A laundry service completes the offerings for an added fee. Bicycle storage facilities are also on hand and those arriving by car may make use of the car park. The complex is part of Edinburgh's first university campus accommodation. During the summer and Easter holidays there are attractive offers for guests here.
