This is a very high quality and comfortable guest house with a family-friendly atmosphere. The building was built in 1890 and renovated in 2006. It has 5 rooms and 2 suites as well as an apartment, studio and villa. Facilities include a 24-hour reception, a cloakroom, wireless Internet access, laundry service, breakfast room and a car park.

This hotel is opposite Murrayfield Stadium on Corstorphine Road, just over 1.5 km from Princes Street (the centre of Edinburgh) and close to Edinburgh Zoo. Edinburgh Airport is less than 8 km and main railway station less than 2 km.
Room description:
Excellent standard of accommodation in all rooms with private bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, welcoming sherry, hairdryer, trouser press, direct dial telephone, TV (some with DVD player), Internet access, iron and ironing board, central heating, and radio alarm.
A full Scottish breakfast and continental buffet are included and are taken in the elegant surroundings of the beautiful Victorian dining room. Lunch and dinner can be taken as a buffet or ordered à la carte.
Edinburgh is renowned for its Festival Entertainment and Tattoo. Many pop concerts are staged at Murrayfield and Edinburgh Castle through-out the year. Murrayfield is the home of Scottish rugby and enjoys many international matches. There is a golf course 600 m from the guesthouse.

How to get there:
From the west, travel east along the M8. At M8 junction 1 keep in left lane signposted to city centre north. At Gyle roundabout take main road for city centre, continue along this road for 4 km, passing the zoo on the left hand side. The next landmark is Murrayfield Stadium on right hand side and the guest house is directly opposite 50 m past the Murrayfield Hotel on the left hand side. From the south, travel north on the A1. At Old Craighall Junction turn left, then at the roundabout take the first exit on to the City of Edinburgh bypass A720 (signposted Forth Road Bridge, Glasgow, Airport) continue to its end then at the Gyle Roundabout continue as if from the west.
