Traditional townhouse hotel located in the centre of Edinburgh, a few paces from Princes Street. Simple rooms offer comfortable home-away-from home dwellings. One by one the rooms are being upgraded with new soft furnishings and a lick of paint. Professionally run. Formally The Maitland.

"Good location helpful reception staff very comfotable bed room could have been cleaner - wasn't vacummed.... Toe nails on the carpet most of the staff at breakfast were foreign .. possibly Polish... very difficult to make yourself understood. Very small breakfast and little choice"
