Description of the Comfort Inn Kensington Hotel

A comfortable, friendly hotel located between Earls Court and Kensington on the busy West Cromwell road. The hotel is double glazed so bedrooms are fairly quiet. Small, welcoming lobby area which leads through to the bar and breakfast room. Bedrooms can be quite small as it is an older building. However the bedrooms are traditional in style and whilst a refurbishment program will take place from January 2005 they offer clean, comfortable, air conditioned accommodation.
Restaurant:-Breakfast restaurant located at rear of hotel; light and airy room. Buffet breakfast served daily - not open for lunch or dinner, however the bar serves light snacks.
Families:-Rooms available that can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children (on request and subject to rates); cots and high chairs are available.
Business facilities:-Small meeting room nut no business centre
Disabled facilities:-Hotel is not suitable for wheelchair users
20 mins walk:-Earls Court, Kensington High Street, Natural History Museum, V&A, Kensington Palace
Public transport:-Earls Court just 5mins walk from the hotel
From the airport:-Piccadilly line from Heathrow to Earls Court, or Airbus stop approx. 10m from hotel. Taxi takes approx. 45mins and costs c. 40 GBP No private parking
Bar:-Bar area to rear of lobby with plenty of tables and chairs. Open from 5.30pm to 10.30pm. May be closed during some dates in December and August.
Room facilities:-Non smoking rooms available. Room size can vary due to age of building. Bedrooms going under a refurbishment program from January 2005.
